		<description>I&#039;ve only been to the Pac-Northwest once, and that was to Seattle/Mt. Ranier. It&#039;s beautiful up there. 

Madison definitely doesn&#039;t have the scenery that Portland does. It relies more on the whole &quot;historic&quot; river town thing. You mentioned vices - there are no fewer than four riverboat casinos within an hour of Madison. I had heard that they wanted to locate one of them in Madison, but the locals refused, so it went 25 miles down river.</description>

		<description>I&#039;m from right outside Portland Oregon.  what brings people to our part of the country is the coast and, I&#039;m not sure if you know this, the breweries.  Portland has a very high microbrewery per-capita ratio.  I think if cities stopped being so against &quot;vices&quot; and allowed people to do what they want, the Madison&#039;s of the world wuld be able to innovate and find ways to attract people.  Does anyone think that Vegas is popular because of the warm climate?</description>
